Nostalgic Family sitcom that will bring back rich memories of yesteryears now airs on Africa Magic Mondays to Friday 7:30pm.

90 GOGORO a short form of 1990's Gogoro ( Gogoro means something long, Vintage or old) .
 
The Series focuses on the family of Patrick and Nike Igodomigodo as they relocate from Benin City to Lagos with their only daughter Pamela and Patrick’s brother, Daniel.

Their foray into running a bakery left behind by Nike’s father, hilarious drama from their neighbours Tamara and Tara makes 90gogoro a pure joy to watch.

The series stars veteran and multiple award winning actress Rachel Oniga, Degri Emmanuel,Yinka Pearce, Chimezie Imo, Jennifer Igbinovia, Valery Dish.

90GOGORO is a production Mindyard204 Entertainment Production, the producers of Africa’s Hit Sitcom, SQUATTERZ.

African kills ex-wife and daughter in Hamburg

A 33-year-old African national from Niger Republic is suspected of killing his former wife and child in Germany on Thursday, April 12. According to German media, the fatal knife attack took place in Hamburg’s busy Jungfernstieg U-bahn station. Police reported that the woman was badly injured during the incident and tweeted in the afternoon that she succumbed to her injuries. The child, who was a year old, died at the scene. The suspect, identified as Mado Mourtala, from Niger, has since turned himself in and has been arrested. "The crime was very, very terrible in its execution, very targeted and very, very extreme," said police spokesman Timo Zill. The motive for the crime is still unclear, states the MOPO. 94 year old sickle cell anemia patient talks about how she survived so far

A 93-year-old Nigerian woman who has Sickle Cell anaemia has granted an interview in which she spoke about her life, living with sickle cell, marriage, childbirth and surviving against the odds. Alhaja Ashiata Abike Onikoyi nee Laguda will be 94 years old this October and she lives a full life though she has the dreaded SS genotype. Alhaja Laguda, as she is popularly called, said during an interview with The Nation, that she stopped having Sickle Cell attacks since she turned 40, though her genotype remains same. "Doctors see me and wonder what a miracle I am.," the nonagenarian said. She recalled that being sickly was tougher at the time she was growing up because nobody knew about sickle cell anaemia. She was always sick to the point that in a whole year, she may attend school only about three months of the entire annual school calendar while she spent the other months sick and at home.
