Governor Ayodele Fayose will spend many years in jail after leaving office in October, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, his predecessor said.   Fayemi who is now Minister of Mines and Steel Development, and wants to seek re-election made the vow during his declaration of intent to contest for Ekiti State governorship seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).   Fayose will be made to account for the gross mismanagement of the state’s resources and allocation in the last four years he said. Fayemi shocked the crowd by bringing out a red card from his pocket which he symbolically showed to Fayose and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) saying the red card is an answer to the White Paper issued against him by the Fayose regime which indicted him of financial impropriety and banned him from holding public office for ten years. The All Progressives Congress has said it will not force anyone on President Muhammadu Buhari as his running mate if he wins the party’s presidential ticket. Consequently, the ruling party said it would not compel the President, who recently told the APC leadership of his intention to seek a second term in office, to pick his incumbent deputy, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), as his running mate. But while informing the National Executive Committee of the APC of his interest to seek re-election in 2019 in Abuja on Monday, Buhari was silent on who would be his running mate in his bid to get a second term as President. Buhari did not, however, indicate, at the meeting, that he would pick any other candidate apart from Osinbajo, whom he had previously described in glowing terms. A 33-year-old African national from Niger Republic is suspected of killing his former wife and child in Germany on Thursday, April 12. According to German media, the fatal knife attack took place in Hamburg’s busy Jungfernstieg U-bahn station. Police reported that the woman was badly injured during the incident and tweeted in the afternoon that she succumbed to her injuries. The child, who was a year old, died at the scene. The suspect, identified as Mado Mourtala, from Niger, has since turned himself in and has been arrested. "The crime was very, very terrible in its execution, very targeted and very, very extreme," said police spokesman Timo Zill. The motive for the crime is still unclear, states the MOPO.   Nigerian transgender based in Ghana, Golden Veso has revealed that she is a virgin as a girl but used to have sex when he identified as a man. According to her, she hasn't had any surgery yet but only takes hormonal drugs.  Veso who was born to a Nigerian father and Ghanaian mother used to be known as Messiah Oke Veso.
